Our Service Programs and Capabilities

6 STEPS TO NFPA 70E COMPLIANCY

Based on the new NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety In The Workplace, there are 6 Steps to Compliancy. Let us help you design and implement and Electrical Predictive and Preventative Maintenance Program, which builds on these particular steps, based on your budget and facility history.

INFRAFRED THERMOGRAPHY

Our Level #1 thermographers and state of the art equipment will identify thermal anomalies within the scheduled component to minimize energy waste, eliminate hot spots, and mitigate safety concerns and component failure.

ULTRASONIC SERVICE

What you can’t hear can hurt you.  Ultrasonic testing is a mandatory safety step and predictive diagnostic tool for identifying audible anomalies within the electrical system such as arcing, tracking, or corona.

VISUAL & MECHANICAL INSPECTION

Conducting a complete system inspection through the eyes of our certified Electricians/Technicians can be invaluable in reducing safety concerns and identifying and documenting potential code violations.

VOLTAGE & CURRENT DIAGNOSTICS

Understanding whether all three phases of your electrical distribution system are working efficiently, should be a high priority.  We have the ability to monitor and measure the electrical variables within your system to avoid potential hazards and maximize system efficiency.

PROPER TORQUE AND TIGHTENING

Loose connections can be the weakest link within the electrical system.  Proper T&T per manufacturer’s specifications is a sure way of keeping your system safe and compliant with NFPA 70B.

DE-ENERGIZED SERVICE

Depending on the age and environment of the electrical system, it is very important to regularly schedule a de-energized service and shutdown (exercise/vacuum/clean/test) extending equipment life, reducing life safety risks, unplanned downtime, and ensuring compliance with NFPA 70B.

POWER QUALITY & POWER MONITORING

Voltage fluctuation, harmonic distortion, voltage unbalance, flicker, supply interruptions, voltage sags, voltage swells, and transients are all conditions of poor power quality.  We can design, engineer, and install permanent monitoring solutions to protect your equipment, document line disturbances, and manage demand.

TRANSFORMER, MAINTENANCE, TESTING & ANALYSIS

Underneath the umbrella of compliancy, our annual Electrical Predictive and Preventative Maintenance programs can help you intelligently diagnose existing and potentially devastating issues within your liquid filled transformers.  Regularly scheduled oil sampling and testing is a cost-effective and sound maintenance practice to extend the life of your transformers.

TRACKING & TRENDING MAINTENANCE REPORTS

Tracking and trending the ins and outs of annual electrical maintenance and testing is a big deal.  Our exclusive and proprietary reporting system manages, schedules, and documents work performed, giving you options regarding repairs and/or replacement and the actions needed to keep your business profitable.
